Peshtigo Historical Days

Three days of community events to celebrate & honor the city that rose from the ashes of the Great Fire on Oct 8, 1871. There will be a dinner and “Stories from the Ashes, Chronicles from the Coals” will be a recreation of actual stories at Embers 1871. Saturday is a 5k/10k run walk, games for kids, various vendors and food booths at Badger Park, Great Lakes Timber show, Menominee Indians presentations, outhouse races, pie eating contest, various band will play through the day, fireworks. On Sunday is a Lumberjack Breakfast at Ember’s 1871 and a Cemetery Walk, Ice Cream Social and have Museum Tours. For more info call the Peshtigo City Hall at 715-582-3041.
